production meeting reflection 4

The duties that i have had this week are to make all the footage that has been filmed edited and put together to make a short VT for our show, the videos that i have had to edit are the karaoke (cha cha slide dance) and the concert feedback. Both of these have been finished and i now have only one more piece of work to do. The things that have been successful this week are that i have come back after school everyday of the week to make sure the work is up to high standards and not poor standards, i have also had to fix the cha cha slide video 4 times and also re upload it but now it is perfect.

The things that needed to be changed was that i didn't have the logo at the beginning of the show so i needed to put that in to make it look better.

I intend to come back on Wednesday and film the 90 second news with shakira then edit it fully by Thursday.

Me and my team have worked very effectively this week and we hope that the show will look brilliant.
my work has been very effective on the group because now its done we all know where closer to being ready and prepared

Production meeting reflection 3

This week I had the job of gathering all the footage that I had to film on Sundays of the summertime ball. We got all the main footage that we filmed and what was left was for me to put it together for our live day.
Everything went well this week, we didn't have a problem because everything is up to date.
We don't need to change anything because everything is under control and going well.
Next week I intend on getting Shakira to do a quick voice over for the beginning off of my piece of work that I have finished editing and to also start editing the karaoke footage that most people should send me tomorrow but I will have to hope and see.
I have worked individually this week as I have been editing my footage.

production meeting reflection 2

During the production meeting i had to tell the class what i was working on, i told the class that i have looked into all the pre prod features and also all the possible problems that i have like the concert, how the concert ended really late so we couldn't stay around and film peoples reactions. I also had to choose a number of songs for the group to pick one for my last pre prod idea.

The group all thought that my progress was good and they also had many ideas which help me to think of how we can make it work. They gave plenty of ideas to make my job simple.

The sucess that this week has had is that i was able to film some footage for media, and that footage was interviewing many people about what they are excited on seeing.

Well i had to look into the wembley idea because of the times that it ended and started but luckily Mr Phillipson came up with a good idea where we just interview the people at the beginning. This has helped me out because it is simple and not hard.

I intend on doing for the next week is looking at the footage and editing it for the live show.

I worked with Shakira (presenter) over the weekend to film the footage because she had to be there with me to ask people the questions about the summertime ball.

Production meeting reflection 1

The production meeting (layout)
The production meeting was in the classroom and the tables were set out in a square shape and we all had to sit around the edges so we could see each other and the time came where we had to talk about our idea then be questioned after we had finished to see if people really understood our idea.

What was the groups reaction to my idea?
When I read out my idea the people's response was varied because it looked like some people didn't really understand my idea but after I answered some initial questions people had a rough idea so I thought that's was good and one of my ideas was called good and that was the pre footage.

who's idea did you vote for? what did i like about the idea?
The idea that i had to vote for was Rebecca because the way she described her whole idea with confidence really gave it that edge that her idea was an idea that everyone could work with. The ideas were very unique and no one had ever done them before, one idea that was really interesting and not forgetful was the rap idea, she said that there could be a rap battle and also a chance for someone to make a single with the special artist that is on the show. 

What areas do you think need development?
the areas that may need development would be the background because people don't know what to have as the background and also the colours, we may have to look into colours for our whole show as the colours could affect the live day.

What other idea ideas did people have that you think could be incorporated into the final idea?
Everyone had amazing ideas and all of them can be put together to make a show, ideas like blocks as chairs and mini games like the picking up M&Ms with chopsticks. The show is going to be completely made by navigation so the show look really good.
